ENERGY AUDITS

Most energy consultants conduct and focus on basic energy models rigorous energy systems analyses. Basic energy audit models only look at an existing network or equipment, set up power analysis equipment for a period and generates a report. From a DevArt standpoint, this is not enough. We conduct rigorous analyses of both wholesome and stepwise power consumption in a system or production line. Along the way, we also consider the importance of every sub-process to the bigger picture. Every equipment is analyzed with respect to the process at hand, and where the rating of the equipment is the issue, for example, we adequately advise, with the relevant simulations, on the importance of replacing it with the right rating. At DevArt, we look at energy audit through both technical and overall business lenses. On a more technical ground, we try to co-relate the business process to the existing power network topology. The process output includes:

1. Optimal energy consumption report with respect to existing maximum production capacity.
2. Energy loss report, and proposals for improvement of the power system or electrical equipment in question.
3. Process improvement report. This includes proposed machine starting and running schedules, optimal equipment run times, process automation proposals, etc.
4. Business process management proposal: This, in as much as it angles towards energy, considers all other processes and undertakings in an organization since they are correlated at the end of the day. Our understanding is that most processes depend on energy and are carried out from a digital platform, and the more centrally all these processes are managed in a simplified manner, the better it is for production and overall business management.
