Biography

Mahasi is a seasoned management consultant with over 13 years working experience in Corporate Kenya. He worked with Deloitte East Africa, Simba Corporation and Central Bank of Kenya. He has been faculty at the Strathmore Business School. He also holds wide membership in various global and continental associations.

Mahasi has extensive knowledge and experience in strategic management, HR consulting, project management, training and capacity development as well as design thinking, rapid prototyping and other strategic entrepreneurship skills. He also has an in-depth understanding of financial accounting, management accounting and treasury management having gained over his close to one and half decades of continuous professional development.

He has authored a number of articles published in global journals and has experience knowledge in technology and mobile money through working experience and specific courses such as Stanford Ignite.

Out of the love of the society, Mahasi is also involved in Hamisi Community Development Fund Education Initiatives for needy students in Hamisi, Kenya (www.hacodefu.org). He is currently spearheading research to design and develop of an affordable and effective defluoridation filter to assist needy communities affected by dental and skeletal fluorosis in fluoride endemic regions in Kenya.
